Our home is now more than two years old. I cannot anymore call it brand new. Over the last couple of years, a handful of repairs have already been made and just recently some maintenance termite treatment had to be done as well. Keeping house is not all that easy. One of the laws of thermodynamics tells us that things will really tend to deteriorate no matter how well we take care of them.  

When we had our house erected two years ago, we prepared it to have a second floor. The foundation and the building is actually ready for that but the thing is once we decide and when funds are enough to finally have that second floor built, it will be like we’re going to have it undergo remodeling. The staircase has to be put somewhere and although the entire place does not need to change its overall look, it will still have to undergo a major facelift, considering our current 48sqm. floor area. 

If I will be given a choice, it will have to be done just like one of those Atlanta Remodeling projects that I have seen. Definitely no detail is left unturned. I would love a stylish but totally functional house that will maximize the little area that we have but not have it look so cramped up. You see our space will really entail creativity and that is what they have.

In celebration of the recent Earth Day, allow me to share with you, my dear readers an alternative method in cleaning your chandelier lighting. While it is true that chandeliers can be a sight to behold, when it collects dusts it is as easy for it to be an eye sore and a complete waste to have it hanging there not serving its aesthetic purpose.  

What you will need is a ladder high enough for you to reach the chandelier, two or three microfiber cloths (available in home stores), a bottle spray with a mixture of tea tree oil and water.  

It might be a challenge especially for those intricately designed pieces. The one thing to remember is to start from the top and work your way down then around. This makes the most sense, instead of having to get off and on the ladder while getting around several times. When you can easily wipe each element clean from up down then move either clockwise or otherwise. The process is easy, just spray the microfiber cloth with the mixture of tea tree oil and water then wipe each element of the chandelier piece. The second cloth will be used to polish the cleaned ones. Easy, right? Happy chandelier cleaning!

There are a few things to remember to prevent motion sickness. Before you embark for your trip make sure you did not just had a full meal. Light snacking is ideal before a flight or a boat ride. Keep crackers handy to munch on.

Another adventure I recently did over at my beauty blog was launch an online store. As a newbie to this kind of venture, I had to look into different possible ways that will make the purchase convenient for my buyers. There were a few times I had to click that “x” button out of frustration of some online shops.

I know I still have got a long way to go. What I am not very satisfied of is the forms of payment that I offer my shoppers. I currently offer PayPal, G-Cash and bank deposits. PayPal is very convenient, if buyers have PayPal accounts, but for those who are not really internet savvy, they still would have to step out of the house to make that G-Cash transaction or deposit to the bank. Credit card processing should really be included very soon and I am going to really look into incorporating this to my online store very soon.

Tips to our upcoming trip to Boracay is the one thing that I have been busy looking into lately. We are really thrilled, to say the least. Going back to where we honeymooned with our son in tow this time excites us. Summer will be over by then, but Boracay is a good place to go to anytime of the year anyway, so we don’t really mind. At least there won’t be a surge of people we have to bump elbows with by that time.

How to Clean Baby Strollers
